Best Deal j.mp Customer Reviews: "I got this guitar after stopping from playing 6 years earlier. I originally had a Squire Stratocaster which was destroyed in a house fire. Then i decided to take up guitar again after 6 years. I bought this package for �120, which included the fantastic little amp, the guitar, picks strap and soft case. The guitar has 3 single coil pickups, with a vintage sound, i get a good beatles sound using the bridge pickup on a clean sound. It has a nice action and didnt really need much set up, although i would change the nut or at least put some pencil graphite in there for now, my whammy bar cross threaded the day i set it up, but ive never found the need to use it, so im not bothered. The finish is nice, although im planning on stripping the paint and changing the colour. The neck is maple, with a maple fretboard and 22 medium frets, excellent quality neck, barring the nut, and the string trees are not sharp, but would be best to be replaced with rollers. The machine heads are not the best but will do the job if you have a tuner, im putting some locking tuners on. Im not a huge fan of the vibrato bridge, but it does the job nicely for the price. Sound is pretty nice but because i now have a epiphone dot (for my vintage sounding stuff) im going to make this my first customisation project, i'll be replacing the pups for a single humbucker and also the electronics, to make this more of a punk guitar, as ive started playing some of that.
